Theresa L. Martin, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Theresa directs the firm’s government and private equity relationships and provides strategic vision for the firm—contributing over 17 years of principal and senior level experience across various commercial and residential asset classes. Most recently, Theresa led a boutique investment firm focused on development projects in the Rocky Mountain region, as well as singlefamily investment opportunities in the Denver area. Prior to that, Theresa was Director at Crow Holdings, where she was responsible for a commercial investment portfolio totaling more than 40 million square feet. Her responsibilities included all asset management decisions, such as hiring and overseeing property managers, lease and contract negotiations, budget approvals, management of development activities, and determination and execution of asset strategy. Additionally, Theresa was responsible for identifying, underwriting and closing on future investments, negotiating partnership/tax restructures, debt financing and restructures, and dispositions.

Prior to joining Crow Holdings, Theresa worked as an associate for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. In this position, her responsibilities included asset management of a mixed asset portfolio, evaluation of troubled assets, negotiation and documentation of loan restructures, bankruptcy litigation and foreclosures.

Theresa has Master of Business Administration in Finance from The University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University. Theresa is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Colorado and a member of the Denver Board of Realtors.

Parrish S. Boren, President
As President and Co-founder, Parrish leads the firm’s institutional activities and handles the integration of strategic objectives of the firm—contributing his 23 years of senior level experience across the commercial and residential real estate spectrum, including finance, leasing, asset management and project management related activities. Prior to founding Verity, Inc., he was Executive Vice President for a national apartment acquisition and operating company where he directed the construction and asset management related activities for a national portfolio of over 21,000 units.

Previously he spent 12 years as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Marx/Okubo Associates, Inc., a national construction and development consulting firm. In these roles, he directed all operating and financial aspects of the company, while also directing and assisting clients with development and construction related activities valued at over $2 billion. Prior to Marx/Okubo, Parrish was a senior asset manager for Aetna Realty Investors, Inc., and was responsible for the asset management and strategic planning for a commercial and multi-family portfolio of over 10 million square feet.

Parrish has a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Environment Design from Texas A&M University. Parrish serves on the boards of directors of Quist Valuation, Inc. and Marx/Okubo Associates, Inc., and he is currently a licensed real estate broker in the states of Texas and Colorado, as well as a member of the Urban Land Institute.
